A little about me & my Health and Fitness philosophy:

Establishing that 1st connection is so important, listening carefully to people’s needs and helping them establish realistic goals. I enjoy working with clients who have other health challenges too. I have had several health issues myself over the years, everything from asthma to broken bones. It never ceases to amaze me what the human body and spirit can overcome. I enjoy helping people tap into that. I also believe that each person is an individual and needs to be treated as such; one approach or style of exercise does not fit all. That was the reason I first started to work in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and now work as I do.

I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist so I tend to use the “whole body” approach – mind, body & spirit. If there is a deficiency in any area, it will affect all. I like to make sure that my clients learn to listen to their bodies. There is no place for “No Pain No Gain” in my training, if it hurts don’t do it. We’ll find another way together. I believe that as we mature, stretching and flexibility are as important as strength training. My clients learn a complimentary stretch for all muscle groups they are working.
