My health and fitness philosophy is based on a “whole body” experience – utilizing the mind, body and spirit. I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Wellcoach, and utilize all three of these in my approach to a whole body fitness experience.
If there is deficiency or congestion in any area of your mind, body or spirit, it will affect all. I like to make sure that my clients learn to listen to their bodies. There is no place for “No Pain No Gain” in my training, therefore if it hurts, don’t do it. We will find another way together. I believe that as we mature, stretching and flexibility are as important as strength training. My Personal training clients learn a complimentary stretch for all muscle groups they are working. I also teach some simple strength and stretching exercises to my Massage client to help them achieve balance in their bodies.
